The annual ADEX Voice of the Ocean Photo/Video/Art Competition celebrates visual representations of the ocean and its many creatures. The best works by underwater photographers and videographers are presented and judged live by a celebrated panel of distinguished experts.
1. Best Of Show
Calling for the best of the best “over-unders”, or split shots, around the ADEX theme – “Dedicated to the Ocean – For a Plastic-Free Future”. The entries for this category will be featured during the ADEX Ocean Vision 2020 show and the “Most Public-Voted” winning entry will immediately qualify for the “Best of Show” category. Follow us as we unveil the voting poll in March. Join now and stand a chance to be awarded this prestigious title at ADEX.

2. Photo of the Year
We want to see what you’ve managed to capture at the decisive moment underwater. We’ll be judging shots from all aspects, from the technical (lighting, exposure) to the situation itself (subject rarity, difficulty level).

3. Video of the Year
Love creating compelling underwater stories with moving images? Then submit your best short film to our Video of the Year category, and be in contention for some incredible prizes.

4. Environmental Photo of the Year (Dedicated to the Ocean – For a Plastic-Free Future)
A photograph that represents the ADEX theme – “Dedicated to the Ocean – For a Plastic-Free Future”. We’re looking for a photograph that makes people stop and take notice, and that affects them enough to encourage a greater awareness about plastic pollution.

5. Underwater Fashion Photo of the Year
The appeal of the human form gains no greater expression than when submerged in the medium that we are so passionate about: water. Do you have what it takes to create a winning image that blends fashion with the beauty of the underwater world?

6. Compact Camera Photo of the Year
We’re looking for the top shots captured with a small camera with built-in lens. Show how good you are with your compact, and be in with a chance of winning some fabulous prizes.
